1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE This document consolidates the operational and political rationale behind the Kennedy family-line removal sequence executed between 22 November 1963 and 5 June 1968, with particular emphasis on the continuity planning conducted under Operation GRANITE CHILD for minor family personnel that was activated but suspended at T-minus 72 hours in June 1968.

The public narrative (single shooter, grassy knoll acoustics, Lee Harvey Oswald as lone actor) remains the approved cover. This document details why the cover was insufficient and what additional measures were taken beyond the 22 November event.

2. THE "SINGLE SHOOTER" DEBRIEF Operation GRANITE RUNNER (22 November 1963) targeted President John F. Kennedy. While the single-shooter narrative served as primary cover, internal records confirm:
